By part type

Designed for your model and year

A part meant to fit every car fits none properly. That is why every product page says which car it is for and how reliable the dimensions are.

  1. Model, year, faceliftFacelifts often change exactly where the part sits. We state the years precisely.
  2. Fit levelMeasured, cited or estimated – estimated dimensions come with adjustment margin and a test ring.
  3. Airbag zonesChecked for every car. A-pillar parts only without curtain airbags.

What a dashboard has to withstand

After an hour in the sun a dashboard averages 69 °C, with peaks of 89 °C. Every file therefore names the right filament for where it is mounted.

  • Dashboard in the sun: avg. 69, peak 89 °C
  • PLA 55–60 °C
  • PETG ~80 °C
  • ASA ~108 °C
Top: dashboard surface after 1 h of sun. Bottom: glass transition / softening point of the filaments.

Good to know before installing

Which filament works for parts inside a car?

ASA or ABS for anything in the sun – a dashboard averages about 69 °C with peaks of 89 °C. PETG is fine in the shade (air vent, centre console). PLA is unsuitable; it softens at about 55–60 °C.

How is airbag safety handled?

For every model and year we check where the airbags are. A-pillar parts are only offered for cars without curtain airbags; nothing is mounted in a deployment zone.

What if there is no part for my car yet?

Request a custom design: tell us the car, model year, mounting location and gauge size and upload photos and measurements. We design the part and then add the file to the shop.
