Licence and terms of use
Translation for convenience. The German version is legally binding. Effective: 1. November 2026
§ 1 Scope and provider
(1) These terms apply to the use of the 3D print files offered on https://magmacode.io, to free downloads and to custom designs. The files are provided and the website is operated by Alejandro Morillo Diaz, Am Markt 14, 23769 Fehmarn ("we").
(2) We only offer digital files (e.g. STL, 3MF, STEP, PDF). Printed parts are not part of the offer.
§ 2 Purchase via Link (Stripe)
(1) Paid files are sold via Stripe Managed Payments. The seller and contracting party for purchase and payment is Sold through Link, LLC, a Stripe company (USA). Link's terms for purchases "Sold through Link" (link.com/terms), shown during checkout, apply to the purchase contract, payment, receipts, withdrawal and refunds. Under these terms, consumers in the EU can cancel their order within 14 days of the day they receive access to the files. We grant you the licence to the files (§ 5).
(2) "Continue to payment" takes you to the Link (Stripe) checkout. There you check your details, choose the payment method and place a binding order with the pay button. The purchase contract is concluded when the payment process is completed.
(3) Prices shown are final prices in euros including VAT. There are no shipping costs.
§ 3 Providing the files
(1) After successful payment we provide the files as a download on the confirmation page and by email. Links are valid for 7 days.
(2) If a link does not work or has expired, we provide a new one on request to support@magmacode.io.
(3) When we improve a file, you can get the current version via your download link or on request at no charge.
§ 4 Free downloads
(1) Some files are free. You enter your email address and receive the download link by email. There is no obligation to receive newsletters; the newsletter is optional and only applies after confirmation via link.
(2) The licence in § 5 applies to free files accordingly.
§ 5 Licence
(1) You receive a simple, perpetual, non-transferable right to use and modify the files for private purposes and to print parts for your own use or have them printed.
(2) Not permitted: sharing, publishing or selling the files or modified versions, and commercially selling printed parts, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
§ 6 Properties of the files
(1) The files are designed for FDM printing. Dimensions, material and print recommendations are on the product page. Where stated, dimensions come from published sources; such parts have not been tested in a vehicle.
(2) Deviations caused by printer, material or print settings are not a defect of the file. Claims under the purchase contract are directed against the seller (§ 2).
(3) The statutory rights in case of defects of digital products apply to our files (§§ 327 et seq. BGB).
§ 7 Installation and safety
(1) You install and use printed parts at your own responsibility. Follow the safety notice and the material and temperature advice on the product page.
(2) Parts must not be mounted in airbag deployment zones, must not cover controls and must not restrict the view. Add-ons may affect the type approval of the vehicle (§ 19 StVZO in Germany).
(3) The files are not original parts and have no affiliation with the vehicle manufacturers named.
§ 8 Liability
(1) We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health and under the Product Liability Act.
(2) For slightly negligent breach of essential obligations, liability is limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Otherwise liability for slight negligence is excluded.
§ 9 Withdrawal
For purchases, the right of withdrawal follows the seller's terms (§ 2): 14 days from receiving access to the files. Information and the withdrawal function are in the cancellation policy.
§ 10 Custom designs
Custom designs are subject to the terms agreed in the respective offer; these terms apply additionally.
§ 11 Final provisions
(1) German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers this choice of law applies only insofar as mandatory consumer protection law of their country of habitual residence does not prevail.
(2) If individual provisions are invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective.
