Description

In an M 237 or M 337 a lot of height above flat holders goes unused. The level puts a tray above each tile; its four legs stand on the free corners of the holder tile below, not on the case floor and not on the rim, because floor profile and rim shape are not published.

  • Stands only on our holder tiles with free corner pads: 1/4″ bit holder, 1/4″ and 3/8″ socket holder, quiver set, router bit holder. Not on the case floor and not on tiles whose corners are used (hex keys, drills, screwdrivers, 1/2″ sockets, cartridges) or on trays.
  • Heights: M 237: level at 90 mm, legs 60 mm, 60 mm for tools below, 63 mm above; M 337: level at 140 mm, legs 110 mm, 110 mm for tools below, 113 mm above; L 237: level at 90 mm, legs 60 mm, 60 mm for tools below, 61 mm above.
  • Tray 30 mm with connector pockets like all tiles; legs Ø 14 mm with a Ø 8 mm pin.
  • Load: At most 1 kg per tile (guide value, not a tested load rating); nothing heavy on a single corner.

Variants and installation: One set per case: one level above each tile, four legs per level. Systainer³ M (from above, one long side at the front): front: left level, right level; back: left level, right level. The back row is the same file turned by 180°; the two R 15 corners of every tile face the case wall.

Dimensions: Inside dimensions taken from the TANOS price list 2026; our part has not been tested in the case yet. Systainer³ M: 2 × 2 tiles of 193.6 × 136.3 mm (inside 389.5 × 275 mm), 2 connector bars; Systainer³ L: 3 × 2 tiles of 166.3 × 136.4 mm (inside 501.5 × 275.2 mm), 3 connector bars. The legs stand on our own tiles; that needs no further case dimensions. The corner radius, floor profile (floor cross, radius between floor and wall) and wall draft of the cases are not published. That is why we relieve generously: R 15 in the case corner, a 4 mm chamfer at the bottom edge, a hollow underside with a rim (a floor cross up to 5 mm high stays clear) and 1.0 mm clearance per side to the case, 0.3 mm between tiles. Print the free fit sample set first: it shows on your own case whether corner, floor edge and clearance work.

Material: PETG recommended, because a tool case quickly ends up in a car or in the sun. PLA works too, but it deforms in a hot car or in the sun.

Brands: Made to fit Systainer³/Sortainer³, not an accessory by TANOS or Festool, no affiliation with them. No logos and no lettering on the parts.

If the pins are too tight, scale the legs to 98 % in X and Y in the slicer.

Printing

  1. PETG (or PLA), 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.2 mm layers, 3 walls, 15 % gyroid, no supports.
  2. Print one tile first and try it in the case, then the rest of the set.

Installation

  1. Put the holder tiles in below. Push four legs into the holes of each level tray.
  2. Set the level over the tile below so that the legs stand on its corners; R 15 corners towards the wall.
  3. At the joint between the front and the back row, lay one connector bar per column into the two half pockets.

What are the connector bars for?

A flat bar (30 × 5 × 2 mm) sits in two pockets at the joint between the front and the back tile and keeps them in line without clamping. Lengthwise the case walls hold the tiles. You can also leave the bars out.
