Description

The Deckelfach M (137, 187, 237) has a second compartment in the lid. The dimensions of the lid compartment are not published, the plate lies loose; please measure the compartment first. That is why the plate is small and only 10 mm high: the bits lie flat in V grooves and stand about 3.6 mm proud. First check with the rim height ladder from the fit sample set that the compartment is at least 14 mm deep.

  • 4 × 6 bits: plate 86 × 140 mm. 3 × 10 bits: 134 × 108 mm.
  • 1/4″ bits, 25 mm (ISO 1173); the groove is wide enough for the bit to sink to its centre and 26 mm long.
  • Loose: the bits only lie in the grooves; with the lid closed they stay put if the compartment sits close.

Variants and installation: Two layouts, one file each. The plate lies loose in the lid compartment; position free.

Dimensions: Inside dimensions taken from the TANOS price list 2026; our part has not been tested in the case yet. Systainer³ M: 2 × 2 tiles of 193.6 × 136.3 mm (inside 389.5 × 275 mm), 2 connector bars. Tool dimensions according to ISO 1173. Inside size and depth of the lid compartment are not published (estimate: at least 14 mm); that is why the plate is small and loose. The corner radius, floor profile (floor cross, radius between floor and wall) and wall draft of the cases are not published. That is why we relieve generously: R 15 in the case corner, a 4 mm chamfer at the bottom edge, a hollow underside with a rim (a floor cross up to 5 mm high stays clear) and 1.0 mm clearance per side to the case, 0.3 mm between tiles. Print the free fit sample set first: it shows on your own case whether corner, floor edge and clearance work.
