Description

The pod sits on any tube from Ø 30 to 60 mm (roll bar, cage cross bar, interior strut bar) with a 90° V-block and holds a 52 mm gauge.

  • The V-block centres itself, so there are no tube size variants.
  • Two slots (14 × 3 mm) take hose clamps 9–12 mm or wide cable ties.
  • The cable runs through the block into the V-groove and along the tube.
  • An M3 set screw secures the gauge.
  • Prints V-groove down on the bed, no supports.

Tip: a strip of rubber or TPU tape in the V-groove stops it from turning and protects the tube's paint.

Any tube diameter in range; rubber tape in the V-groove evens out the paint.

Material and temperature

Shaded location: PETG is sufficient, ASA is the more robust choice. PLA is unsuitable in a car – it starts to soften at about 55–60 °C.

Print orientation: V-groove down on the bed, cup pointing up.

Safety notice

Do not mount in the head-strike zone of driver or passenger and do not remove required cage padding. Motorsport series rules apply. Check the clamps before every drive. Install at your own risk. Never mount in an airbag deployment zone, never cover controls, never restrict the view. Follow the material and temperature advice. Add-ons may affect the type approval of the vehicle (§ 19 StVZO in Germany); keep edges in the head and knee area rounded (UN Regulation No. 21).

Not an original part. No affiliation with the vehicle manufacturers named; make and model names only indicate fitment.

FAQ

Which material should I use for this gauge pod?

Recommended: PETG (alternatively ASA, PA-CF). Shaded location: PETG is sufficient, ASA is the more robust choice. PLA is unsuitable in a car – it starts to soften at about 55–60 °C.

Do I receive a printed part?

No. You get the print files and print the part yourself or use a print service. You get the download link right after payment.

Does a 60 mm gauge fit?

Yes, in the “60 mm” variants: 60.4 mm bore for gauges with a 60 mm housing (e.g. Defi 60); the front ring rests on the cup rim. Gauges with a 52 mm housing take the 52 mm variant.
