Description

Dice drop in at the top, bounce off two baffles and a ramp and roll out into the tray in front. To pack it away, lift off three plates and lay everything flat in the game box.

  • For dice up to 20 mm: every passage is at least 26 mm wide, 54 mm wide inside; standard dice are 16 mm.
  • Comes apart without tools: the back, front and tray lip hook onto the side walls by dropping 3 mm and hold the tower together; the floor and baffles sit in slots.
  • Everything printed flat: 2 mm plates, 0.2 mm play per side at every joint.
  • Assembled size: 64 × 142 × 160 mm (W × D × H), tray 75 mm deep.

Dimensions: No foreign dimension except the die size (retailer data 16 mm); our part has not been printed and tested with dice yet. If a joint is too tight, print that plate at 99 %.

Material: PLA is enough, PETG works too. Do not leave it in the sun or a hot car: PLA softens from about 55 °C.

Printing

  1. PLA (or PETG), 0.2 mm layers, 2 walls, 15 % infill, no supports.
  2. All parts flat, as the files are laid out. Print the side wall and the 45° baffle twice each.

Installation

  1. Lay one side wall flat, put the floor, both baffles (the second one turned round) and the ramp into their slots and place the second side wall on top.
  2. Stand the tower up. Slide the back, front and tray lip over the hooks from outside (start 3 mm higher) and let them drop.

Which material should I use for this card box?
