Description

Patch panel for keystone jacks (RJ45, HDMI, USB etc.) in one rack unit.

  • 10″: 11 ports in the centre part, numbered 1–11, with the regular 10″ ears.
  • 19″: centre part plus two keystone ears with 6 ports each = 23 ports.
  • Cut-out 14.9 × 19.3 mm per Delock and Wiremold data, 18 mm pitch.
  • Two panel thicknesses: no manufacturer states how thick the panel must be at the cut-out, so the cut-out comes at 1.7 mm and 2.0 mm. If your jack does not snap in at 2.0 mm, use 1.7 mm.
  • Cable-tie slots in the bottom flange for strain relief.

The ears carry no device here, so the 19″ keystone ears have no stiffening beam and no rear support is needed (the panel only carries jacks and cables, far below the 1 kg limit for inserts without rear support; guide value, not a tested load rating). Our part has not been tested with keystone jacks yet. Keystone jacks are not included.

Material and temperature

Mini PCs often run around the clock and get warm: PETG or ASA cope with that, PLA deforms over time. Do not block the device's vents.

Print orientation: Centre part and 19″ keystone ears: front face down. 10″ ears: upright, as the file is laid out.

Safety notice

For data and signal cables only; do not route mains voltage through the panel. Holders for devices, not an electrical component: do not install or modify anything carrying mains voltage in or on them. 2 kg per rack mount at most (guide value, not a tested load rating); from 1 kg, support the device at the back as well. Print in PETG or ASA because of the constant warmth and keep the device's ventilation free.

You will also need

  • 4 × M3×10 countersunk screw (ISO 10642)
  • 4 × M3 nut (ISO 4032)
  • 4 × Your rack's screw (#10-32, M5 or M6) with a washer
  • 11 × Keystone jacks (not included)

Printing

  1. PETG or ASA, 0.2 mm layers, 3 walls, 15 % infill, no supports.
  2. 10″: centre part + 2 × 10″ ear. 19″: centre part + 2 × 19″ keystone ear in the same panel thickness.

Installation

  1. Press the M3 nuts into the end-wall pockets, fit the ears and fasten each with 2 × M3×10 countersunk screws.
  2. Snap the keystone jacks in from the front, screw the panel into the rack, secure cables to the flange with ties.

No. You get the print files and print the part yourself or use a print service. You get the download link right after payment.

Which panel thickness do I need?

It depends on the jack. Print the centre part at 1.7 mm first; if the jack snaps in and sits firmly, it fits. If it wobbles noticeably, use 2.0 mm.
